Scientists do not know what is happening with these plants! Mysterious forest of 400 curved trees in Poland

In Western Pomerania (Poland) there is a small pine grove, which became known for one small “highlight” - all 400 trees that grow here have a strange bend at the base.

This territory, which at that time belonged to Germany, was planted with trees around 1930. All plants acquired a clear 90-degree bend of the trunk directly above the ground, and then continued to grow, as expected, vertically upward.

No one knows how and why the trees got such a strange shape, but most researchers agree that such a curvature was the result of intentional mechanical action. Some suggest that the cause of such a curious phenomenon could be a heavy snowfall.
